old beginnings :P
I got to keep my promise to my moms last night.

The first time I made it back from school to see Soph-mom (sophrosyne_sl , if there's anyone in this temporal cloud who *doesn't* know her!), I told her I'd come stay in her new place in Extropia as much as I could.

With the Extropian power core online, getting back got a *lot* easier! I zapped down onto the old Nexus's ramp last night, got my bearings and headed off for my moms' places. I'd just curled up in this really cozy spot at the base of Argent-mom's (argent_bury ) Lovelock Tree, and was about to get out a datadot and read a bit, when she came over the hill and saw me! Good thing her heart's still strong!

So we hung out a bit, and I got to meet her friend dandellion, and then Soph-mom came up, and we all got so gooshy dandellion took off, but it was really good to be there, so I can't be *that* sorry!

I didn't grab any vids - still getting used to this old tech - I'll do better next time!

I'm gonna have a room all to my own to decorate in Soph's house! It'll be weird doing a place in antiques- it seems like such a granny idea - but Aunt Gala says I'm strictly limited to pre-Singularity stuff here, so.... Beethoven concert holos? Ceremonial moon-landing stone axes? What do I *do*???

Soph-mom bought me some "conservative clothes" - not one shred of which shows less than a square meter of skin, not even the big comfy sweater! Aaagh! I feel like a yutz keeping my school track suit on, but at least it's well, umyeah.....

k, that's about all I got for now. Hopefully I can sneak out some night this week and go surfing sit around knitting socks with my moms...
